The second half is where the game is one, er, won or lost!

The world will pass the midway point in the first year of this new nine-year cycle (2026-2035) on July 2, 2026. From that point on — in any year — the pace picks up: whatever that year expresses or reflects is ramped up.

Ramp-ups get progressively more intense as the months roll by. And they vary month to month. In 2026, July is a revelation month, the gaining of wisdom that follows the deep dive of June — hopefully leaders in all fields are paying attention! (lol) But it’s mostly about lifting the veil and exposing some more of those hard truths. It’s followed by August, which is marked by resolving and wrapping up at least some of those revelations. With the air cleared a little bit, September has a fresh feel to it; possibilities open up, a sense of renewal pervades. October could be quite divisive and may result in a retreat into safety or it could be a consolidation of gains. November is the opposite: we’re opening back up again, ready to face a myriad of opportunities; being open to explore away guides us. And December, to wrap up the year, is a case of expecting the unexpected, with a hint of ‘travel’ into unknown territory; the more unusual the better. We will all need open minds; it’s likely to be quite surprising.
Overall, this next six months is about us facing whatever we know we must keep working on but for whatever reason we’ve being dragging our feet in the first half of 2026. This is a time when we are meant to be fully stepping into our collective mastery. This is not about us as individuals — unless we are in a personal 1-year — this is about us a community, a society, a planet. If we can recognise what we are in the middle of creating, then we can press on regardless. If we don’t want to, if we resist and lack confidence, the tension will continue to build and build until we have to make a decision one way or the other. Usually, when this happens, a society is stuck and can’t move forward and it’s the people who miss the opportunity to bring about the creativity and innovation they long for. Come December 31, 2026 and things are still half-started, not even close to realisation, we will be carrying that pent-up energy and possibility into the new year of 2027. Then we’ll get to see real tension. It’s a case of pregnant potentiality (the yang), so to speak, meeting the drive for balance and internal harmony, the call to come home (the yin). If not managed well, people will be all over the shop, struggling to integrate that call to come home with the unrealised potential of what was begun but not finished. This is a case of the momentum of old energy not realised — not made manifest in the world — clashing with the influx of new, quieter, more introspective energy. If you know astrology, try getting Leo and Cancer to have a conversation and map out a plan of action. That’s a recipe for tension.
While this message is for the world as a whole, it does affect each of us depending on what personal year we’re in. You can look that up and read what that’s about here.
