A little more about how numbers work (and where they came from)
From time to time, people ask me how does numerology work and where did it come from. I do share what I know from more than twenty years of personal readings and observations and also what I’ve read in books and online. However, I recently rediscovered Leeya Brooke Thompson's book The Rediscovery of Chaldean Numerology and, in particular, this extract, which adds a bit more detail, though I still feel the true origins and the actual process of discovery remains a mystery. It is quite a challenge as it’s one of just a handful of books on Chaldean numerology. Anyway, I hope this helps shed some light.
