What’s with these number sequences — 1.11, 2.22, 3.33 etc — people keep seeing?

Are you seeing certain numbers and combinations of numbers in your everyday life? There are plenty of reports online of people seeing 11.11, 12.12, 1.11, 2.22, 3.33, 4.44, 5.55, mostly in their afternoons on clocks and phones — digital of course. There’s also 12.34. They’re reporting they’re seeing these combinations of numbers ‘all the time’.  I must admit, it happens to me ‘all the time’, too.

Now, just because people are saying they’re seeing these number combinations ‘all the time’ or more than usual or more so than any other combinations, doesn’t necessarily mean they are. The reporting is obviously anecdotal, subjective and relies on human recall, which can be notoriously dodgy. Confirmation bias, anyone? We notice them because they are, well, noticeable and we’re drawn to repetition and frequency of patterns. That said, could there be something to it? Who knows? If it was just me noticing these combos, I could put it down to my acute awareness of numbers. But it’s not just me. There’s plenty of talk online; people are suggesting it might mean something. Based on my knowledge and experience with numerology and how numbers work and what they mean, I like to think there’s something to it.

That experience is based on my observation that our birthdays and personal years are important points of reflection and we are likely to recognise them showing up as certain numbers in our everyday lives. For example, if you were born on, say, the 24th day of the month, the suggestion is you might see or recognise or remember seeing 24 ‘everywhere’. Or, if you are in personal 6 year, you see 6 ‘everywhere’.

So, here’s some thoughts on what these combos might mean, from a Chaldean numerology perspective.

1.11am or 1.11pm

Reflects optimism, idealism, expanded thinking. Go exploring, get adventurous, especially in your mind. It’s time to learn. As you venture, keep a firm grip on the reins, don’t allow one side of the road to dictate all the terms; there’s scenery on both sides.

2.22am or 2.22pm

Reflects compassion, generosity, love and romance, and also wealth. Share the goodness, and the love. However, there is a warning: Don’t take on other people’s stuff. You’re not carrying them. You’re enjoying each other’s company. While you may be inclined to want to make sure everyone’s having a good time at the party, as a good party host does, you still need to remain unburdened so you’re light enough to enjoy the company. That said, it is still intimate party time.

3.33am or 3.33pm

Reflects assertive action, courage, conflict, and initiative . . . but also vulnerability and naiveté. Be daring. Complete something that’s been hanging around, but do it when no one’s watching. Catch the world off-guard; you’ll need to to make this work effectively. When all is said and done, surprise everyone by giving back what you’ve achieved; in other words, share the love!

4.44am or 4.44pm

There’s a lot going on here. While this combo also reflects optimism, idealism, expanded thinking — similar to 1.11 — it comes with a warning to be careful to remember your lessons. When exploring, take note of markers along the way; they may entice you to go down a rabbit hole of wonder or they could be red flags to avoid a potential dead end, a suck of time or territory you’ve explored before that went nowhere or turned out not so well for you. Eyes peeled. The other thing is to give as much time and attention to yourself as you give to others.

5.55am or 5.55pm

Reflects creativity, wandering in nature, hanging with friends. Also feel free to go places with them. At least get off the couch or your phone and go make some art, even if it’s just making your house and garden beautiful; be playful. Feel your magic. You can change anything, you just have to decide to. That’s what magic is: changing consciousness at will.

11.11am or 11.11pm

Expect the unexpected. Know when to speak and when to stay nothing. Keep your head and heart aligned so neither dominates. You need to be balanced as you roll with the rollercoaster. This is why 11 is a Master Number. Master staying in balance and harmony as you purposefully act or not act is the name of the game.

12.12am or 12.12pm

Combine 2.22 with 4.44. Social time when you might be inclined to relax and enjoy the delights and comfort of the ‘good life’ but stay focused, watch for longstanding patterns that might come up to be faced. Don’t let that old stuff interfere with the joys of that good life.

12.34am or 12.34pm

Denotes action and initiation, the dawn of a bright new day. You have the power to both create or destroy; no shades of grey. And with as much gusto and purpose in either direction. It’s a reminder to be careful how you use your power. The numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 in a line precede 5, the number of transition, movement and change. It’s breath-in time. So, get your plans ready (1); pack a first aid/wellness/self-care pack, whatever floats your boat (2); add a book that you know will expand your thinking (3); and free yourself for new knowledge and understanding (4) before you rev up your engines (5).

One more thing: the 24-hour clock

Some people do have their phones set to the 24-hour clock. I haven’t looked at these times, for example, 13.13, 14.14, 15.15, 16.16, 17.17, 18.18, 19.19, 20.20, 21.21, 22.22. I could do them if there’s demand, so let me know if you’d like these numbers done as well.

These number sequences are truly special. Have fun with them. Learn from them. They are powerful reminders, part of the wonderful manual that is numerology.
