Mid-year update: the ramp-up begins as home beckons

We’re in the middle of the year and it’s the start of the ramp-up, when the year kicks into a higher gear. Activity now accelerates, as does opportunity. We are not at the whim of a planet, a star sign, the Sun, the Moon, a Tarot card or even a number, including 2025! None of them determine what we do. They provide markers or guides; they show us what we might like to work on if we so choose; and they reflect where we are. They are tools. Unlike the gadgets we buy, we weren’t born with a manual. Think of these tools, among others, as a substitute. Our job is to pay attention to the incoming information.

The world will pass the midway point in the final year of the current nine-year cycle (2017-2025) on July 2, 2025. After this date, the pace picks up; whatever that year expresses or reflects is ramped up. The final year in the last nine-year cycle (2008-2016) was 2016. Go back and reflect on what that was like. For one, Donald Trump won the US presidency. For some, the world did indeed end! For others, Trump’s inauguration in January 2017 represented the first year of the new cycle: a fresh start. Whether it was any of these things will depend on your point of view. Politics aside, my sense was it fitted the numbers perfectly!

So, will the tail end of 2025 mirror the tail end of 2016? Maybe. In intensity? I suspect it will be even more intense. Conflict levels on the planet are pretty high right now. That part is certainly right. The drive to finish we what started in 2017 is intensifying. And that necessarily entails conflict because some of us want some things to end, while others are holding on to what we have. Whatever we know we must finish — but for whatever reason we’ve delayed in the first half of 2025 — we come face-to-face with from now on. This is the end zone; we are meant to be sweeping away the cobwebs, all that no longer resonates with us. If we are keen to end something in our world, the momentum of 2025 supports that. If we don’t want to, if we resist and procrastinate, the tension will build and build until we have to make a decision one way or the other. Come December 31, 2025 and there things left undone, things not wrapped up, we will be carrying them into the new cycle. Then we’ll get to see real conflict: people will spin out, if only because old energy is messing with the influx of new vibrant energy. That’s when tensions will really manifest.

So, to the extent I give advice: if you see some part of your life you know is asking — no begging — you to wrap up, get courageous and do it. While this message is for the world as a whole, it does affect each of us depending on what personal year we’re in. You can look that up and read what that’s about here. You’re being asked to wrap up whatever is obvious to you that you’ve been learning about in your current personal year — from birthday to birthday. However, it may not be everything, depending on where you are in your personal year. Generally speaking, the later you were born in this calendar year, the less you’re likely to have to complete before the end of this 9-year. That assumes you’ve been paying attention and acting on what has been presented to you throughout the year. If you’re asleep, in denial or a serial procrastinator, all bets are off! lol

August 8 and September 9, 2025

In 2025, there are certain dates we can join with others around the world to help shift stubborn resistance to ending conflicts and completing tasks. One of the most potent is Lion’s Gate on August 8 (The 8-8). The other is September 9, 2025 (The 9-9-9). I’ll write up about them in July.

To read my thoughts on 2025 as a whole, including how you might be personally affected over the year, go to The Year 2025. I’ve included how each of our personal years interacts with the global 9 year.
