I walk down the street

I've been collecting quotes and stories for a while now. And I thought I'd share this one with you.

1. I walk down the street. There is a hole in the footpath. I don't see it. I trip and fall over. IT ISN'T MY FAULT.

2. I walk down the same street. There is a hole in the footpath. I fall over again. I don’t think the hole is in the same place. IT STILL ISN’T MY FAULT.

3. I walk down the same street. There is a hole in the footpath. I see it. I still trip and fall over . . . I see this is getting to be a habit. My eyes are open. I know where I am. IT IS MY FAULT. I get up immediately.

4. I walk down the same street. There is a hole in the footpath. I walk around it.

5. I walk down another street.
