There’s a solar eclipse on Monday April 8. It’ll cross through northern Mexico, the US mid-west and north-east Canada. We won’t see it in Australia, nor will the rest of the world. That doesn’t mean it won’t be felt by everyone on some level, though.
What does numerology say about the day? April 8, 2024 is a 20, 8 day, not a native combination. Let’s break that down.
The number 20 is The Awakening. And there’s a lot of that going on in the 21st century. Every year begins with ‘20’, especially now that we’ve entered the 2020s, where the vibrational emphasis shifts to 20-20, 20-21, 20-22 and so forth. The influence of the 20 is arguably more pronounced. I explain it more fully in an earlier blog post.
The number 20 is “The Judgement”. It’s an indication that there’s now a level of clarity — and hopefully composure — to calmly evaluate our collective circumstances. There is now enough awareness to see what’s happening in our world, though it’s not quite the time to chart a course through these deep waters. That comes later. To the Chaldeans, the 20 is symbolised as “a winged angel, sounding a trumpet, while from below, a man, woman and a child are seen arising from a tomb, with their hands clasped in prayer”. This is a day that offers a powerful awakening, bringing a new purpose, the desire for new plans, new ambitions. A call to embrace a great cause or ideal, if you will. However, there will be occasional delays and obstacles; that’s because awareness must precede action. Which is why developing patience — the key challenge and reward of the 20 — will better guide us in transforming our world. (Even if that might not be until 2026.) Given 20 is not a material number, it will be at odds with the vibration of the 8, so expect some fireworks in the financial world — or at least its ramping up.
The 20 and the 8
The 20, 8, is not a native or natural combination; 20, 2 (2+0=2)would be. The number 20 natively expresses itself through the water sign of Cancer (I feel). This is the opposite of the 8, which expresses itself through the earth sign of Capricorn (I utilise). The 8 is determined and relentless, with lessons coming on top of each other. It’s also about the gaining of wisdom, learning through experience, stability, patience, responsibility, financial security, perseverance, restriction, self-discipline and self-control. So, how does the 20 affect the 8? In a nutshell, the awakening will play out on the world stage for all to see and feel: through our big institutions — government, corporations, organisations of all descriptions — and the legal system. It is about seeing and coming to know how the world is through seeing with our own eyes. For some — probably many — it will be a eureka moment, the a-ha “That’s what this is about” moment. Or, more likely, the beginning of the process of awakening.
